This comprehensive engagement involved the successful establishment of a modern Snacks production line, an efficient hatchery chick transfer system, and a fully functional hatchery egg room. Each element of the project was designed and executed with a focus on quality, hygiene, scalability, and operational efficiency to meet Goodman Fielder’s long-term growth strategy.
The Snacks line was a central component of the project, involving the procurement, installation, and commissioning of food processing equipment tailored to meet commercial snack production standards.

From design through to operational testing, the team worked closely with vendors and engineers to deliver a system capable of consistent, high-volume output with room for future expansion. The hatchery chick transfer system required a streamlined approach to managing the delicate movement of day-old chicks from the hatchery to designated rearing areas. Kaicolo Consultancy designed a workflow that optimized animal welfare, minimized stress during transit, and ensured maximum survival rates. Special attention was given to ventilation, transport crate design, and timing coordination—all crucial factors in a successful hatchery operation.
Additionally, the setup of the hatchery egg room was executed with precision. This facility was built to accommodate proper egg handling, temperature and humidity control, and hygienic storage prior to incubation. The consultancy oversaw the integration of environmental control systems, egg sorting areas, and biosecurity measures to meet strict hatchery standards. This egg room now serves as a vital hub for ensuring the quality and consistency of the hatching process within Goodman Fielder’s poultry operations.
